Ever had a fish peel line off into your backing in seconds? Come feel the tug of Steelhead and trophy Browns in Western New York. With 8 world class Steelhead and brown trout streams all within 1hr of each other, Western New York is one of the few places on the east coast to catch these magnificent fish. They call them the fish of a thousand casts for good reason, but once you catch one, fly fishing will never be the same. This trip is designed for the experienced trout angler looking to gain the skills and experience to become a confident and independent steelhead fishermen. As the trip goes on you will transition from being guided, to having the skills to fish alongside your guide. This trip is open to students in 9th grade and above.*Note-Weather in the Great Lakes Region during December is highly unpredictable, as is the fishing. Severe cold can limit the time spent on the water, as well as the water that is available to fish.

- What to Bring
Warm Clothes and Waders! In addition to a 7-9 weight rod and reel you will need waders and lots of warm clothes! Please give us a call at 828-577-8204 for more info.
- Fish for steelhead the size of your leg
- Target the largest brown trout you have ever seen
- Spend the nights out of the cold in a toasty warm house, enjoying home cooked meals
- After Dinner we will sit around tying flies, telling stories, and getting ready for another great day on the water

We will explore several different rivers as we search for trophy steelhead and brown trout in the Lake Ontario tributaries surrounding our home base. At night we will warm up with home cooked meals.
