I have been on LFFE trips for the past two summers and have had incredible experiences both times. Both trips were led by Charlie who was a great instructor and trip leader. I was nervous about being the only girl on the trips, but both times got to fish with incredible female trip leaders who are easily some of the coolest people I've ever met! I never felt uncomfortable as everyone welcomed me in. I had a great time, learned a ton, would recommend the trip to anyone with the slightest interest in fishing, and hope there's more trip locations soon!

This past summer I went on the Yellowstone Advanced Expedition. It was the best time of my life. I had so much fun on the trip and it was run so smoothly. I made many friends with the people from my trip and I continue to communicate with them. The fishing was incredible and my trip leaders were awesome. It was such a great time so I decided to sign up for another trip next year. There is already excitement of the trip next summer and I’m really looking forward to it. Last summer was excellent and I can’t wait for another great summer.

We have done 2 Lillard Trips and they were both amazing. The Parent Child trip is a great experience for both. The West Elk trip was once in a lifetime. Will Lillard and his crew do a great job of instructing and making the kids feel empowered and confident.

Quintin told us the day at the high mountain lake was “the happiest day of his life!” I think that means he had a really good time. LFFE Teaches a young boy or girl a lot about growing up.

This was the first trip that our son took with LFFE and we are already planning more. From registering to receiving timely updates, everything is done in a professional manner. Most importantly, time unplugged, learning the intricate details of fly fishing and environmental conservation cannot be found in other programs. Independence, leadership skills and community service all make the LFFE experience unique, purposeful and fun. The LLFE program will make a nice addition to his college resume. My son is already excited about planning next summer's adventure!

Sent my 15 year old son on the Yellowstone Adventure - I asked him to rate it and without hesitation he said 10 out of 10 - he had an awesome time. This is a professionally run trip, Will does a fantastic job with the kids, the trip is well balanced including fly fishing instruction, wilderness skills, hiking, camping, site seeing and just good old fashioned fun. My son was fairly new to fly fishing and came back with a love and appreciation for the sport as well as a greater understanding of conservation efforts and the leading role sportsman play in the process. I would highly recommend this trip.

It is not often that I get to have my son’s full attention. During this trip, I did not have to compete with texting, Instagram or Facebook or whatever the next fad is. The time spent with my son was absolutely priceless and a memory that can never be taken away. I can only hope that I can do this again and again!

This was my son’s second year with LFFE. The LFFE experience was far above any other summer program my children have ever experienced. What sets LFFE apart from other camps is the time, planning and effort Lillard Fly Fishing puts into its camps and Will’s passion for fishing, education and the outdoors. This camp is centered on fly fishing, but leadership, conservation and the environment are always part of the camp. If someone is looking for a camp to expose their child to fly fishing and give them the opportunity to fish some phenomenal water, I would highly recommend a trip with Lillard Fly Fishing Expeditions.

Cal loved it! It was different than any other trip he had done in the past… I loved that Cal learned about different trees, survival tips, etc… I would love for him to have the chance to fish with you out west.
